1. Who we are

Golf Pulse Overlays ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at overlays.golfpulse.app. We provide a tool that generates transparent PNG scorecard overlays for golf video content creators.

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide our service:

Account information: When you sign in, we receive your name and email address from your authentication provider (Google). This is stored securely via Supabase.
Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles this securely. We receive your subscription status and billing history.
Usage data: We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
Round data: The golf scores, course names, and player names you enter are stored in your browser and in your account to generate overlays. We do not share this data with third parties.

3. How we use your information

To provide and maintain the overlay generation service
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts)
To improve our product based on aggregated usage patterns

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

4. Third-party services

We use the following services:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting (EU data processing available)
Stripe — payment processing (PCI DSS compliant)
Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-focused, cookie-free website analytics
Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DNS

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (session management). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing cookies. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies.

6. Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time
